We have a few volunteer spots available in May and June!
(Remember that on Wednesdays 5-7 pm, Gleaners hosts a Fresh Farmers Market open to anyone. Fresh milk, eggs, produce and other items are distributed free for the asking. If you know of someone struggling to keep food on the table, suggest they stop in and fill up.)
[The phrase that pays this week is "Don't Go Around Hungry" and you may text that to me at 810-986-9320 and/or say it to me at Friday's meeting. The first people who respond will get something for Gleaners Food Pantry.]
WEDNESDAYs in March, please join your fellow Rotarians for lunch at CHILI's in Brighton. We will gather at noon to talk about a variety of interesting topics and get to know one another a little bit better. [Your editor is easily confused. Remember Howell on Tuesdays on Odd months and Brighton on Wednesday on Even months. HOT-O, BOW-E.]
Come on out for some great food, good conversation (check the link above for menu choices...) and quality time with your Rotary extended family. Bring a spouse or co-worker as a no-pressure introduction to what makes Rotary so special.
There's room at the table for YOU, so mark your calendars NOW as a reminder for Lunch every WEDNESDAY in March.
Your LSRC Foundation Board will meet March 30 at the Brighton IHOP at 7:30 am. All LSRC members are encouraged to attend future meetings.
Up for discussion and voting at this meeting will be approvals and revisions for Local Grant Applications for the Innovation Academy Hands on Museum, the Guatemala Literacy Project and the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA). More details next month!
