WE MEET AGAIN !
THE WEEKEND always begins with the Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club!

My apologies, but this is just Part One of a two-parter, meeting announcement only. A more detailed bulletin will be issued tomorrow.
I am having difficulty with time and the software. Bear with me!
Please click on the link above "Having trouble viewing this email?" to see the ENTIRE Bulletin.

For the time being, we will meet at the big garage at the Livingston County Jail  150 S. Highlander Way, Howell.  Dress warmly.
HEADS UP:  Westbound Grand River Avenue between Downtown Howell and Highlander Way is currently closed.  Please choose a different route!
Can't make it in person? You can attend virtually via Facebook Live!  Just go to this website at 7:30 am and participate:  https://www.facebook.com/LivingstonSunriseRotary

THE JAILHOUSE RULES
(for in-person meetings)
1.  Bring your own chair.
2.  Bring your own beverage.
3.  Bring your own breakfast.
4.  Bring your own MASK.
Dress warmly (check the weather). Please arrive between 7 am & 7:15 am! We will maintain the proper social distancing between rows, so this will be an extremely SAFE meeting. Technically it is an "outdoor" meeting space if we keep the garage doors open.

Matt Pepper (pictured above with a pooch) is the President and CEO of Michigan Humane (which dropped the word society recently). They merged with the Livingston shelter, clinic and adoption center in April 2019. Joe Miskovich is chairman of the board of directors for the local group.

Mission: To improve and save lives through compassionate care, community engagement and advocacy for animals.

Michigan Humane was founded in 1877, is the oldest and largest nonprofit animal welfare organization in the state. Each year, Michigan Humane achieves 100 percent adoption of more than 8,000 healthy and treatable animals through compassionate care, community engagement and advocacy for humane treatment. Michigan Humane operates four shelter and veterinary centers in DetroitRochester HillsWestland and Howell; seven adoption partnerships with Premier Pet Supply, Petco and PetSmart; and both a Cruelty Investigation Department and a Statewide Animal Response Team.
