Meet New Member Robert Larsen

Robert B. Larsen, Jr. has worked in banking for 10 years, including with First National Bank. Note that his last name is spelled with an "SEN" at the end although he is the SON of Robert B. Larsen, Sr. of Saginaw.

As a young professional during the financial crisis of 2008, Robert realized that he wanted to pursue a career as an Investment Advisor Representative to study the markets. As a Private Wealth Advisor with Executive Wealth Management in Brighton, Robert likes to help individuals and businesses position their investments in an allocation with appropriate risk and diversity.

Robert has been involved in many community events when he was with First National Bank (soon to become The Bank of Ann Arbor) and will continue to do so at EWM.

Sit next to Rob at the next few Meet-ups and ask him about what he does when he is not working or volunteering.

MITT 2020 - Making a Difference for Livingston County Youth

MITT is over. So sad. But so glad!

Everyone who attended had a great time. Next year's MITT will be held elsewhere as The Johnson Center is under-going a re-configuration of its space. I hear Crystal Gardens is very interested in being selected as the next venue.

Details about the exact amount raised and how much will be distributed to our three charities will be announced at a future meeting. In the meantime, enjoy some of these photos below. [Photos! We need more photos!]

This year's recipients of proceeds raised are the Foundation of the Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club, The Connection Youth Services (part of The Livingston Family Center) and Mentor Livingston (formerly Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Livingston County).  Our LSRC Foundation has awarded than $650,000 since 2013 to improve the quality of life for youth and families here in Livingston County.

SAVE THE DATE:  Next year's fund raiser will be announced later, but it should be the last Saturday of February.

Lunch WEDNESDAYs with Rotary Family in BRIGHTON

Next WEDNESDAY, March 4th, join your fellow Rotarians for lunch at CHILI's in Brighton. We will gather at noon to talk about a variety of interesting topics!

Come on out for some great food, good conversation (check the link above for menu choices...) and quality time with your Rotary family so you can get to know one another just a little bit better.

There's room at the table for YOU, so mark your calendars as a reminder.

Readership Response Contest:  The first person who shakes my hand on Friday and repeats the phrase that pays ("HAPPY LEAP YEAR!") will win a FABULOUS prize. Perhaps an original CARTER '76 Campaign Button?
