Due to Covid 19, meetings are NOT being held at the Bennett Center. They are currently conducted via Zoom and/or in public spaces where we can socially distance. Please watch our Facebook page for weekly updates as to location/platform. Thank you!

Mike Murphy, once again has graciously opened the doors to the Livingston County Jail so we can have a meeting in person. Well, not the jail exactly, but the big garage to the right of the general public main entrance at 150 S. Highlander Way, Howell. (Do NOT use the prisoner's entrance. You risk being booked and finger-printed.)
HERE ARE THE JAILHOUSE RULES for our in-person meeting
1. Bring your own chair.
2. Bring your own beverage.
3. Bring your own breakfast. (Bagels? Toaster?)
4. Bring your own MASK. (Wear it properly!)
Please arrive between 7 am & 7:15 am! We will maintain the proper social distancing between chairs, so this will be an extremely SAFE meeting. Place your chair along one of the rows, keeping six feet between rows. Maintain at least a foot or two between chairs, but do not speak directly face-to-face without wearing your mask. You know, to avoid spreading CoVid-19.
If you choose to accept this assignment, you will be our in-person GREETERS at the Livingston County Jail at 150 S. Highland Way, Howell. Be there by 7am!
GREETERS 9/18/2020 - in person!

Please inform the Bulletin Editor if you are unable to fulfill your duties, or find your own substitute!
We are going to get to know Anne Rennie a bit better this week as she gives us a "Brief History of the Livingston County United Way" as our speaker. Mark your calendars for "Matching Money Monday" on Monday, December 7, 2020. On that date, any funds donated online or in person will be matched. As much as 3x the amount you give!
Now, more than ever before because of CoVid-19, the LCUW needs your help to help others in our community affected by the pandemic. "Give Where You Live" is the mantra when donating through your employer's payroll deduction.
Many Rotarians participated in the 13th annual Tour de Livingston bike ride, hosted by the Howell Rotary Club, this year held virtually and at your own pace, Sept. 4-8. Team Rotary GO! participants pictured below on 9/5/12. LSRC members George Moses, Jamie Nicholson, George Watts, Jerry Beamer & friends together cycled over 300 miles and raised more than $1,000 to benefit the Livingston County United Way.
Thanks to Jamie Nicholson for supplying this photo! C'mon, guys, we need more input. If you have ANY photos of ANY Rotarians in Action, please send them to me with a brief description and identifying the people pictured. Deadline will be Mondays at NOON, so it can make it in that week's BULLETIN.
