A MESSAGE FROM PATTIE COURTNEY
Greetings everybody!
After meeting with our club board on Tuesday, we decided to hold off on meeting in person for awhile yet. Per our resident health expert, Dianne McCormick with the Livingston County Health Department, Michigan is considered a national hot spot again for new CoViD-19 cases.
We feel this decision is in the best interest of all concerned. [And, of course, it's Fair to all concerned.] I know this is disappointing news for many of us. Definitely me. And I'm sorry to have to share this news. Hopefully we can meet as soon as it is safer (and the weather warms up a bit)!
This week we will hear from our own new member, ChiefMichaelO'Brian of the Brighton Area Fire Authority. BAFA proudly serves the City of Brighton, Genoa Township and Brighton Township. Mike will share some updates with us. Looking forward to hearing from you, Mike!
A huge thanks to all those who made it out to the AmberReinickHouse last Saturday. A lot of good progress fixing up the place! You guys rock!
See you Friday bright and early. See Zoom link below...

HELP SAVE LIVES AT COVID-19 CLINIC at CHILSON HILLS CHURCH
Dear LSRC members,
Our Assistant Governor, Carrie Newstead has presented an opportunity for us to get involved with helping at our Livingston County Health Department.
Some highlights:
The Livingston County Health Department is now running several clinics a week at Chilson Hills Church on Brighton Road. hey are in need of some high level volunteers. Who better to step up then our Rotarians?
Members can email me if interested and I can forward the volunteer forms that will need to be completed or they email Heather directly at the Health Department, who’s contact information is at the bottom of the flyer. I thought it would be nice to talk about my experience volunteering on Wednesdays Clinic earlier this week. Without a doubt one of the most rewarding and amazing volunteering experiences. hank you to all of you for your incredible leadership during this pandemic.
Carrie

From Jim Gilmore, past Michigan governor and all things sports:
It's time for the 18th annual Fowlerville Rotary Golf Outing. It will be held at Oak Lane Golf Course in Webberville, June 11, 2021.
We usually support them with a foursome or two. It is one of the more reasonably priced (at $75 per golfer) and one of the most enjoyable outings as we support our fellow Rotarians to the west.
It is a 4 person scramble format with prizes to the top Mens, Womens and Mixed Teams.
Sara Barnwell and Diana Romsek already committed at last week's meeting so we are well on our way.
Since we are fellow Rotarians, we can pay at the door with cash or check. To register, just send me your name and email and I'll complete the forms for our team(s).
You can enjoy a meal with local Rotarians every day of the week:
Monday - Lunch - Howellat Howell Board of Education Room at the Administration Building (on Highlander Way)
Tuesday - Lunch - Brightonat the Brighton Community Building (aka the Boy Scout Building)
