 Gabriela from Peru arrives this Thursday, August 8th at 3pm at DTW...MacNamara Terminal, Delta flight 1388 from Atlanta. This will be an exciting year for her, and for us, as we host 2 students (our young man from Germany will arrive later this month). Let's give her a first, warm welcome from LSRC Thursday with a nice reception committee at the airport. The YE Team will take care of signage, all you need to do is show up, say "HI!", cheer a little bit when prompted, and be a part of Gabriela's first experience in a new country. We may do some carpooling, so contact Jim Gilmore if you'd like to do that and he'll arrange it. If you're going to meet us there, let him know so he can keep you posted on where we will gather to greet her. |

LSRC members came together in support of literacy last month, under the leadership of George Watts. We read stories and engaged children one evening for the Challenger Elementary Summer Reading Program in Howell.
