MEET SENIOR SURVIVOR BRENT NICHOLS
This is Brent Nichols from the Rotary Club meeting this morning. It was a delight to meet you today. I appreciate your kindness and support. The Livingston County Rotary Club raised $247 this morning! That's insane! [We passed the chicken around for donations. What a giving group!]
I just want to say thank you once more for the opportunity to connect with you and all of the members of this wonderful organization! If you are interested in supporting Team Nicholback in the Senior Survivor competition this year there are a couple of ways.
One is becoming a sponsor. There are different levels of sponsorship starting at the Bronze level ($500) all the way up to the Highlander For Life sponsorship ($25,000). Starting at the Gold level ($5,000), your organization logo will be displayed on all of the t-shirts we sell!
Another way to support is by donating! Any amount you pledge whether online, or cash/check (made out to Howell High School) will directly support me in the competition. Lastly, helping me make connections is extremely helpful! Even just a name and number I might be able to call will give me an edge in Senior Survivor! Again, thank you so much for your support. I can't explain how joyful I am to know there is a group of individuals like this in the Howell area. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or comments. My email is brenton.nick@gmail.com <mailto:brenton.nick@gmail.com> and my phone number is (810) 923-2524. [Senior Survior is a one-week fund-raising effort by Howell HS Seniors to raise funds for a community service project. [The 2022 Senior Survivor project is to purchase and install handicapped accessible playground equipment at the Genoa Township Hall. See this story on WHMI]:
ROTARY FAMILY LUNCH - WEDNESDAY APRIL 6 in BRIGHTON at NOON
All right, all right, all right! Meet with your fellow Rotarians and their family and friends in Downtown Brighton starting April 6. No foolin'! Lunch begins promptly at noon, so check out the menu posted online at Jameson's Irish Pub. All the food is prepared to your specifications and is fresh made from scratch.
Click on the link hereto read their menu and be prepared to order when you arrive! Or you can order ahead of time if you need to duck out early.
We still have one more Tuesday in March left, so see you at Corrati's in Downtown Howell. You must try their delicious sorbetto and gelato, made with the Cadillac of all gelato machines, with training in Italy! It's not on the menu. Gotta ask for a taste.
Invite your extended Rotary Family [aka spouses], friends or co-workers. This also is a great way to introduce them to our club and what makes LSRC so special! There simply isn't enough time at our weekly meetings to get to know one another better. SO, EACH ONE BRING ONE.
Spring has sprung bringing in warmer weather and sunshine. We are so o o o o excited to have this break in weather to work on many projects that we could not do during the colder, snowy months.
All of you have helped out on at least one of our projects in the past year and we would love to have you back.
This month we will be at the Oak Crest house completing the siding and getting the home ready for the next phase.
We can't do what we do and make dreams come true, without YOU!
Won't you be part of this journey for our home owner??

It is a tragic and sad time for the people of Ukraine and the world.
Many of you may not have remembered and/or even known but we have very close Ukraine ties to RI CEO John Hewko through our District and the Rotary Club of Clarkson . Our District assisted in planting the seed 30 years ago to help sponsor the 1st Kyiv Rotary Club in Ukraine.
Because of these past District connections Mr. Hewko is suggesting we all channel efforts to the RI Disaster Response Fund until 30 April 2022. RI will then put a report together about all the donations from RC Kyiv co-sponsor Districts/Clubs. He sees it as a demonstration of Rotarians from different Districts, Clubs and Countries coming together again collaborating to help Ukraine.
Today, our thoughts are with our fellow Rotary members and others in Ukraine coping with these tragic events. Rotary International will do everything in its power to bring aid, support and peace to the region.
CLICK HERE to read more about R. I.'s efforts in Ukraine.
As one of the world’s largest humanitarian organizations, we have made peace the cornerstone of our global mission and I thank you all for your continued efforts to Serve to Change Lives.
~If you are NOT getting the bulletin, or would like to add someone to our email list, please let the editor know! MLenninger@gmail.com~ Also, please submit any articles and photos to the editor by Tuesday at noon, and include the word "ROTARY" somewhere in the subject line, please.
