Meet Priscilla Melendez, married to Jake Larioza.  Both are RotarACT Club members for the “younger” people rather than for us old… parts.
 
 
 
Where are you from? Dallas, Texas  
 
Where did you go to school? The University of Texas in Dallas, majoring in sociology.
 
How long have you been a Rotarian? 1 year 
 
What leadership roles have you had? Team Lead in the automotive industry, Sales lead at Nordstrom, I was a part of the Spanish Club in high school where I volunteered with local organizations in the Dallas area.
 
What do you do professionally? I’m a small business owner, automotive spokesmodel, presenter, and I also conduct media interviews. 
 
Family? Pets? I have 2 ducks, 2 chickens and a rooster! 
 
What is one of your super-talents? Expressive writing and photography. [ Note that Priscilla is a little rule breaker and non-conformist. I asked for ONE super talent!]
 
What’s your favorite book? The Seven Laws of Spiritual Success
 
Why? It’s a great book that I can reread over and over and always learn something new. 
 
What is one thing that most people don’t know about you? That I’ve backpacked through Europe and South America — Both for three months each. 
 
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Do it right or don’t do it at all.
 
What was the worst job you ever had? I worked at a call center during college. 
 
What’s your favorite type of music?
